ABSTRACT
The previous chapters have focused on the description of a single random variable and its associated probabilities. In this chapter, we deal with properties of collections of random variables. Special attention is paid to the probability that the sum or average of a group of random variables falls in some range, and important results in this area include the law of large numbers and the central limit theorem.
