Below are the hourly labour rates used for Spon’s Civil Engineering and Railway Rates 2017. This year’s rates are calculated on the rounded value of a 40 man working team and from historical civil engineering and railway projects for the past year and therefore typical average rates currently used. These rates are higher than the normal labour rates due to a number of logistic factors highly skilled requirements and control standards. The above rates however have been used on standard and general activities.
