The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors formally abolished standard Quantity Surveyor’s fee scales with effect from 31st December 1998. However, in the absence of any alternative guidance and for the benefit of the user, extracts from relevant fee scales have been reproduced in part with the permission of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, which owns the copyright.
