ABSTRACT

The initial version of the Customizable and Adaptable Methodology for Managing Projects (CAMMP) came into being in late 2007 to early 2008. It started with workshops delivered to clients, then a book, The Inheritance, written using the story-telling format, which was published in February 2010. It has been established that the model is built on a project life cycle model, which starts at the idea and finishes with project closure. To accommodate for different projects, CAMMP expands the life cycle by one level with the introduction of Project Stages. Stages are like phases—they represent a span of time along the project life cycle—but the purpose of each stage is to produce an output, a stage deliverable, which is assessed at a stage gate. Once a stage deliverable is complete, it should go through a stage gate. The Delivery Phase deals with delivering the project per the project detailed plan.
