ABSTRACT
The project management team consists of the personnel that will support the project manager in managing the stage and project work. The project authorization document is the document that authorizes the whole project; it is what Project Management Institute and International Organization for Standardization label the project charter. A project is a risk event, and the feasibility study is what helps the organization to determine whether to exploit the opportunity, avoid the threat, or mitigate the various risks and pursue the project. Market research is often vital for certain projects, such as commercial projects releasing new products or services into the market. Social or community evaluation is similar to market evaluation and is often necessary for social initiatives of non-government, non-profit, or government organizations. The technology evaluation depends on the domain or type of project. The feasibility study is an essential requirement within the project life cycle and would lead to Stage Gate 2.
