ABSTRACT
We observe that the design and development of any system of systems has to make both operational and business sense, which may be achieved by linking operational and business model perspectives. The quote at the beginning of this chapter gives an idea what a business model is, and in representing it in more detail, we apply some design thinking principles, moving from concept through requirements to the implementation of a business model idea. Business model innovation is briefly discussed.
