ABSTRACT

Preservation of disease samples is very necessary to maintain the record of the disease and the types of symptoms produced or described at a given time. It is authenticated proof of the disease reported at a particular period. According to the color of disease leaves or fruits, the impregnation of the preservation solution has to be done to retain the same color of the host material for its preservation. Where the climatic conditions are not suitable for dry preservation method, the microwave drying method can be applied. In this method the color retention is better for the sample and it can be stored for a long time without fading. To save green color, copper acetate impregnating solution is used. Gradually increase the crystallization of copper acetate in 50 percent acetic acid solution. Carotene-containing fruits such as lutein and apricot, pear, persimmon, citrus, and so on, are soaked in subsulfuric acid of 4–10 percent aq.
