ABSTRACT

Routing is a general term that finds applications in numerous areas, such as networking, transportation systems, electric circuits, postal systems, and neurobiology, to cite a few. By definition, routing is the mechanism responsible for determining the path across which objects (i.e., a packet, an electrical signal, a letter) are transported from a source to a destination.
