ABSTRACT
Although PVC is the still the most common sheathing for indoor data cables, there is a choice of fire retardant PVC and a range of low flammability, zero halogen materials now available. Such materials have many interchangeable acronyms, such as LSF (low smoke and fume), LSFOH (low smoke and fume, zero halogen) and LSOH (low smoke, zero halogen).
