ABSTRACT
Testing standards came along after the first wave of cabling system standards and for many years the only standard available was TSB 67, the Telecommunications Systems Bulletin number 67 of TIA/EIA568. Now we have many standards relating to testing and some challenging testing environments for Category 6 cabling, single mode optical fibres and a new generation of optical connectors.
