ABSTRACT
Metamaterial is an articially designed material that consists of nanoscale metal structures. When we designed the structure of metamaterials to be much smaller than the wavelength of light, the light cannot detect each structure owing to its wave nature, and metamaterials act as quasi-homogeneous materials. Hence, they are termed “metamaterials” not “metastructures” (Figure 5.1).
