ABSTRACT
Unfortunately, mechanisms for improving the reuse of soware at the level of programming code, such as RTOS-or middleware-level APIs are still not sucient to achieve the desired levels of productivity, and the error rate of soware programs is exceedingly high. Today, model-based design of soware bears the promise for a much needed step up in productivity and reuse.
