ABSTRACT
Signal flow graph theory is concerned with the development of a graph theoretic approach to solving a system of linear algebraic equations. Two closely related methods proposed by Coates [1] and Mason [2,3] have appeared in the literature and have served as elegant aids in gaining insight into the structure and nature of solutions of systems of equations. In this chapter, we develop these two methods. Our development follows these methods closely [4].
