ABSTRACT
A simplified block diagram of a radar receiver that employs an envelope detector followed by a threshold decision is shown in Figure 32.1. The input signal to the receiver is composed of the radar echo signal s(t) and additive zero mean white Gaussian noise n(t), with variance c2. The input noise is assumed to be spatially incoherent and uncorrelated with the signal.
