ABSTRACT
Some proposed payloads for microdrops include ground up solids to be suspended in a carrier fluid and then jetted out of the drop ejector. Despite its successful use in inkjet printing, this is technically a very difficult engineering task if one’s goal is to take an arbitrary solid, fragment it, suspend it in a jettable fluid, and eject it reliably on demand from a microdrop generator.
