ABSTRACT
This book treats the broad issues of distribution automation, control, and its various functions as well as the penetration of distributed generation with various options, renewable energy, and performance assessment. Government agencies and utility companies have proffered a variety of roadmaps identifying the characteristics and features of future distribution systems, the required technologies, and the scope of coverage for research and educational purposes. We have labored to present some of these timely topics in this book.
