ABSTRACT
Specular x-ray reflectivity (XRR) provides information on the thickness, roughness, and porosity, while diffuse (nonspecular) XRR yields valuable information about the average pore size and the pore size distribution. Measurement principles for both these methods are outlined in Section 1.2.
