ABSTRACT
However, like medical diagnostics, the results of external tests can be misread or misinterpreted or mask other phenomenon. None of the tests can guarantee that a failure will not occur, or has not occurred. Furthermore, failure analysis is not simply collecting and analyzing test results. It involves application of the scienti–c method to take into account all likely failure scenarios.
