ABSTRACT
The procedure for float and sink analysis is reverse to that of the sink and float analysis. The sample is first separated by using lowest specific gravity liquid. Then sinks are separated in the next higher specific gravity liquid and so on. The float fractions from each liquid and the sink fraction of the highest specific gravity liquid are collected, dried and analysed for required component.
