ABSTRACT
The previous chapters has explained about the basics and mechanisms of membrane operations. Now, it is important to know the preparation techniques of various membranes. This chapter explains different membrane preparation methods explaining the fabrication of various kinds of polymeric as well as ceramic membranes. The importance of various materials along with their role in different membranes is explained in detail. The content of this chapter will make the reader confident in the fabrication of a specific membrane for a particular application. Lastly, the chapter explains about how to prepare a membrane in a cost effective manner.
