ABSTRACT
After their successful preparation and characterization examination, membranes are analyzed for the determination of their effectiveness and efficiency for the said application. This chapter is dedicated for explaining various applications of polymeric membranes. Different polymeric membrane applications ranging from water treatment to the health care industry are explained along with the advantages and disadvantages of polymeric membranes over ceramic membranes. This chapter will introduce the scope of polymeric membranes to various applications along with their merits and demerits. Also, this chapter gives a clear picture about the use of polymeric membranes for novel applications, which may result in the development of new domains for polymeric membranes.
