ABSTRACT
This chapter looks at the airline-wide Safety Management function. Line Operations Safety Audits (LOSA) and Threat and Error Management (TEM) principles can be conceived of as flight-deck oriented Safety Management activities. These have been considered in the previous chapter, however many of the basic principles still apply across the airline as a whole.
