ABSTRACT
In the past, operation and maintenance (O & M) of urban drainage systems has often been inadequate. The temptation has been to assume that if there were no immediate problems, there was no need to spend money. Yet, drainage systems corrode, erode, clog, collapse and ultimately deteriorate to the point of failure and beyond.
