ABSTRACT
The preceding chapters have emphasized the physical principles of radiation sources, absorption and geometry. This approach allowed a condensed and somewhat simplified discussion before the introduction of many of the factors that are quite important to the execution of a radiographic inspection. In the present chapter, some additional elaboration will be given on some of these additional factors and typical radiographic systems will be briefly described.
