ABSTRACT
(e) The stars near the edge of the Galaxy are aberrated to an inner ring of the image. Stars nearer the centre of the Galaxy appear further out in the spaceship frame since they are aberrated to larger angles. The scale of the image is determined by the speed of the spaceship: the larger the speed the more concentrated is the image towards the inner ring.
