ABSTRACT
A visit to other stars in our Galaxy in a human lifetime time would involve very high relativisitic γ - factors. As a result space travellers of the future will, like the three wise men, find themselves following a star. This is because for high enough Doppler factors the cosmic microwave background is aberrated into the forward direction and shifted to visible frequencies.
