ABSTRACT
Once the wafer fabrication sequence is completed the wafer is still not ready to use. Several manufacturing operations remain to be performed: wafer probe test, scribe and break, assembly process (packaging), and electrical test. These are termed back-end operations, since they occur subsequent to wafer fabrication.
