ABSTRACT
One cannot study continua without considering special types of maps. Thus, it has been both appropriate and unavoidable that in previous chapters we have discussed some particular kinds of maps and obtained results about them. In this chapter, we shall introduce some new types of maps, extend some previous results and ideas, and, as we have done before, show how special types of maps can be useful in examining properties of continua.
