ABSTRACT
The tensile test requires specially produced test specimens, which is often time-consuming; thus, hardness tests are frequently used to estimate the tensile strength values. The hardness test can be performed rapidly and is a type of compression test; thus, it is frequently used instead of the tensile strength test in manufacturing production lines as an indicator of tensile strength.
