Somefiniteelementsolutionsobtainedusingthepresentmixedplatebending elementsareshowninTables10.5.1through10.5.5.lsoparametricshapefunctions wereusedforbothinterpolationofmomentsanddisplacements.Tables10.5.1and 10.5.2showtheresultsforsimplysupportedandclampedsquareplatessubjected touniformpressureloads.Becauseofsymmetry,4or16four-nodeisoparametric elementswereused.ThefiniteelementmeshisseeninFig.10.5.1.Thesolutions fromthepresentmixedformulationarealsocomparedwiththosefromanothermixed formulation[21].Table10.5.3givesthefiniteelementsolutionsobtainedusing4eightnodeisoparametricelementswhileTable10.5.4comparesdifferentisoparametricplate bendingelements.Theaccuracyofeachisoparametricelementisdifferentevenifthe totalnumbersofnodesarealmostthesame.Theelementswithmorenodesper elementgivemoreaccurateresults.
