ABSTRACT
We have seen that knowledge is an important component of project management. The Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) refers to a book of knowledge (BOK) developed once a project is brought to its conclusion; my model includes knowledge (T h ) as an indirect resource necessary for Commitment. Acquired knowledge from previous projects leads to more efficient planning (Plans), improved control of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) (Process), more efficient communication (People), decreases in resource consumption (Process),3 faster task execution (Process), and enhanced problemsolving (Power). Project leaders acquire knowledge and thus make informed decisions.
