ABSTRACT

One of the most common pieces of advice Creative Directors' see is to stand up when presenting. A good creative presentation should create a narrative around the work Creative Directors are presenting. The goal of the first part of the presentation is to set and align expectations. The chapter shows how many concepts Creative Directors' presenting and what form those concepts will take. As Creative Directors near the end of presenting, try to paint a vision toward the future. The key to overcoming Creative Directors' fears and presenting their work like a pro is simple. The truth is if Creative Directors' nervous, the work is good, and they appear likable, then the client is going to be rooting for Creative Directors to do a great job. Make it clear Creative Directors understand their concern and that Creative Directors will work to address it in future iterations. Address it directly and speak with confidence around the rationale for Creative Directors' decision.
