ABSTRACT

Time as a physical property is a unit of measurement and in the International System of Units is defined as the second. Time is often viewed as a continuum in which events occur in succession from the past to the present and on to the future. Time is a complex property that can be divided into two main categories, an external physical time represented by physical properties, for example, the time of day/night or the moon time between two full moons, and an internal biological time represented by the biological species’ internal clock. Physical time is a moment of duration that everyone has to relate to and agree upon. Time is measured in seconds, minutes, hours, or even years. The human time perception is seldom in coherence with the clock. Many people usually have a problem planning for time. It is always a battle to reach the airport, get to a meeting, or fetch children from day care on time.
