ABSTRACT

This chapter presents immune algorithm-based parameter estimation for intelligent and its hybrid system. It introduces immune algorithm-based schemes into control engineering area with the goal of effectively controlling nonlinear systems, complex systems with disturbances, including their tuning. However, little attention has been paid to the applications of some other systems, such as, for instance, immune algorithm in engineering, despite their very important characteristics and model for intelligent system. The remarkable pattern recognition abilities of animal immune systems suggest that immune system-based algorithms are well worth exploring. Recently the artificial immune system research area has been interesting, since it has particularly various aforementioned interesting features. In the immune system, learning occurs through the modification of the number and affinities of the receptors. A survey of models that have been developed based on various computational aspects of the immune system and their applications to real world problems are available through these reasons.
