ABSTRACT

The study was designed scientifically and was conducted using suitable techniques. Accuracy and perfection cannot be possibly drawn in a single research work, as all the factors are difficult to be taken into stride by an individual in a stipulated amount of time. The present research too had limitations. Moreover, the research topic is very intriguing because perceived organizational climate is so interwoven of various complex factors that it becomes difficult to control one and study another. The researcher felt that if certain limitations had been considered, it would have yielded more perspective picture of perceived organizational climate with other variables among virtual workers. Some of the limitations are being stated here in brief:

In the study, if the purposive sample of virtual workers had been increased, it would have certainly enlightened more on variables studied.

In this study, the respondents were taken from Delhi and NCR only. Wide geographical area covered would have shown light in the proper relation of various variables.

Comparison with face-to-face teams could have been done for better findings.

Cross-cultural research would have definitely contributed to the research as the results could be then generalized on a wider population.

The study would have yielded more accurate results if perceived organizational climate was dealt with the personal and cultural background of virtual workers.

In the present study, demographic variables such as socioeconomic status, gender, etc. may also be important.

Some of the questionnaires used in the study were very lengthy as the subjects complained of the monotonous effect that led to insignificant results in some important variables.

Different industries or sectors of virtual workers would have yielded more clarity in results.

An attempt was made to examine the perceived organizational climate, leadership effectiveness, self-efficacy, trust, and job involvement among virtual workers. Few other factors such as team management, personality, conflict management, job satisfaction, 251communication skills, etc. could have been included as they also affect virtual organizations in one way or the other.

The study could yield more consistent results if a longitudinal study would have been carried out with a limited number of virtual workers.

The study could yield more interesting results if factor analysis would have been carried out for results and discussion.
