In this chapter, we will introduce another convex optimization problem called

second-order cone program (previously abbreviated by SOCP). SOCP has been

widely applied in communications and signal processing problems, such as vari-

ous robust algorithm designs against some system information uncertainty, e.g.,

robust receive beamforming, transmit beamforming, etc., which will be used to

illustrate SOCP after some proper problem formulations in this chapter.
