Previous articles†,‡ discussed the issues of good manufacturing practice (GMP) controls to preserve the integrity of critical e-records and how to assess the effectiveness of these controls. However, to ensure the integrity of e-records, it is essential that the system handling these e-records must be, at the same time, trustworthy.
