ABSTRACT
The following is based on the author’s ICS class instruction and course of fire as presented at Tactical Defense Institute (TDI). TDI, located in southeastern Ohio, has been training civilians, law enforcement personnel, military, federal agencies, and corporate security teams in tactical firearms and physical self-defense since 1989. The academy is headed by John Benner, a 30-year veteran police lieutenant and retired Hamilton County [Cincinnati], Ohio Police Association SWAT team commander. John is the coauthor of the nationally used CQPC program and is certified to instruct by the Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Council (OPOTA).
