ABSTRACT
Lubrication is the process or technique of reducing friction between two components and wear on one or both surfaces in contact with each other and moving relative to each other. The lubricant may be either a liquid (requiring continuous replacement) or a solid, in the form of molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) or graphite, or a combination of both.
