ABSTRACT
Due to the unique nature of innovation, we encourage the reader to revisit the set of project methodologies that we presented in Chapter 7. In the initial stages, prior to selecting a specific project type, the organization’s management must first identify desired project outcomes suitable for a particular innovative approach. Identifying external (customer driven) and internal (business-driven) outcomes for a specific project is best accomplished through assessment and diagnostics.
