ABSTRACT
We have expanded our circle regarding the knowledge of our overall plans and today our entire executive team is present when Alex arrives at 9 a.m. Sitting around the conference room table are the four divisional presidents: Billy, the CFO; Linda, the VP of sales; Smithy, the director of projects; Helen, our communications officer; Joyce, the VP of Information Technology; Valerie, our VP of Human Relations; John, the COO; and Rory. All of them rise respectfully as I show Alex into the room. Although all of the folks have met him at one time or another, few of them are really familiar with him as a person. Consequently there’s a lot of handshaking and reintroductions around the table.
