ABSTRACT

The understanding of the nature of CP violation is another open question in particle physics that will be addressed by the LHCb experiment. The amount of CP violation present in the SM is not sufficient to explain the matter-antimatter asymmetry observed in our Universe. SUSY, however, predicts new sources of CP violation. Therefore, proving any deviation from the SM expectations for CP violating processes at LHCb would be a clear hint for SUSY.
