ABSTRACT

In the present chapter, it is the Higgs sector which is enlarged, rather than the gauge sector discussed in the previous chapter, through the addition of a singlet Higgs state (and supersymmetric counterparts) alongside the two doublet Higgs states of the minimal version of SUSY. After an introduction to the main theoretical problems of the MSSM, we discuss various formulations of non-minimal SUSY scenarios of this kind and their most important phenomenological implications.
