ABSTRACT
Bacterial wilt (BW) is one of the most destructive diseases of the potato, and the wilt pathogen has a very wide host range. It is a serious problem in many developing countries in the tropical and subtropical regions of the world. It is usually found between the latitudes 45°N and 45°S. It has been recorded in all Australian states except Tasmania.
