ABSTRACT
The last two and a half decades have seen the emergence of the most promising materialscarbon nanotubes (CNTs). In recent years, extensive work carried out worldwide has revealed the intriguing mechanical, chemical, thermal, and electrical properties of these novel nanoscale materials. This chapter will discuss the synthesis, properties, and general applications of CNTs in the treatment of water and wastewater.
