ABSTRACT
This chapter includes case studies from four other plant families in New Zealand: Ranunculaceae, Fabaceae, Apiaceae, and Brassicaceae. The main themes are the same as in the last chapter: intercontinental affinities of New Zealand groups can be correlated with the groups’ distributions within New Zealand, and spatial evolution at both scales can be explained with reference to major events in tectonic history.
