ABSTRACT
Introduction The TPS, often referred to as The Toyota Way, is an integrated social, management, process, and technical system, developed by Toyota reflecting and providing a framework showcasing its management philosophy and practices. The TPS incorporates elements related to manufacturing and logistics, and it goes beyond what is done within Toyota by including the interaction with suppliers and customers. It is a framework for conserving resources, eliminating waste, improving relationships, and building trust and teamwork.
