ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1, I made a number of references to systems engineering and requirements. In addition, the rst steps in the product development roadmap (Figure 1.6) begin with the product requirements document as well as the systems requirements. The goal of this chapter is to provide a highlevel review of requirements and requirements management documents. Associated with these artifacts, there are architecture and design documents. I will dene these and provide a denition of their role and place in designing a product.
