ABSTRACT

Curved surfaces such as cylinders, pyramids, wedges, and flat surfaces are all common forms in modern architecture. Example treatments using some of these geometric shapes are shown in Figure 11.1. As Figures 3.2, 3.26 through 3.29, 3.39, and 3.40 illustrated, curved geometric shapes find applications in many different places in production and reproduction rooms. In this chapter, the performance and design of geometric surfaces including those shown in Figure 11.1 will be considered.
