ABSTRACT

The theory of generation of the reflected SH (RSH) at the interphase boundary (IPB) is based on the theory of interaction of electromagnetic radiation with matter, including non-linear optical interaction, and on the physics of semiconductors. However, the non-linear optics of the interphase due to the complexity and uniqueness of such boundaries has specific characteristics compared to the non-linear optics of continua and is an independent, rapidly developing section of non-linear optics.
